The Board had received the additional information that they had requested from Attorney Miller about the partition of a plat of land within the mile and a half jurisdiction of the Village. Trustees Arrasmith moved that the Village approve Resolution 2017-R-01, Resolution Waiving Extraterritorial Jurisdiction over the Partition of an 80-Acre Tract into Two 40-Acre Tracts outside Village Limits. Trustee McCloud seconded the motion; the motion carried with all ayes on a roll call vote, including President White.
Supervisor Bennett suggested that the Board include $70,000 for meter upgrades in the Appropriations and $5-7,000 for leak assessment. The Trustees then worked on the appropriations for the ordinance to be voted on in June.
The changes made from last year's appropriations to this year's are as follows:
- Add under I.B. (under Summer help) Village Hall Custodian, $1,500.00
- Under same category, change Animal Control to $2,000.00
- Uner same, Streets and Alleys, Street Lighting to $9,000.000, New Equipment to $10,000.00 and Operating Maintenance to $6,000.00.
- Total General Fund Appropriations, $484,250.00
- Change under IV. A. Administrative Services, Legal, to $1,000.00, and Engineering Fees to $30,000.00
- Change under IV. B. Operational Services, Superintendent of Operations Salary/Asst. To $45,000.00 and Equipment/Meters to $70,000.00
- Take out IV. C. Sanitary Sewer Planning Loan Interest
- Change IV. D. Miscellaneous to IV. C. Miscellaneous
- Total Waterworks and Sewerage Fund Appropriations, $545,700.00
- Total 2017-2018 Appropriations $1,202,200.00
